1) - Unsold or disconnect the terminals and securing
straps.
2) - Tie a pilot wire to the cable extremities,
facilitate the
reassembly
operation.

- Slide out
throttle,
rear
brake,
front brake and
deconmpressor
control cables.

Slide
out the cable
harness from under the
steering column cover.
Painting
Please note that
for
obtaining perfect
results
in
retouching
paintwork
the
following
operations
should
be carried out:
-
Prepare the
necessary
products:

Cycle A
-
Major
retouches;
where
the
metal
as
exposed
is rusted or
the
paint film
is
not
sufficiently
adherent.
1. -
Throughly
rub
down the concerned zone
so as
to
completely expose the underlying metal surface.
Carefully
dry and dust using clean rags.
2.
- Spray
on the rust preventivate and dry.
3.
- Apply
filler and
dry.
4.
-
Rub down with
emery (g
rade
320
or
finer).
5.
- Spray on
top coat and
dry.
Operation
Cycle
B
-
For minor retouches where
the
application of a rust preventivate is unnecessary.

Rub down as per point

oder mit einer Fullspachtel (SprOhdosen) einge-
spruht.

Nal3schleifpapier (mind.
320 er)
abschleifen.
5. - Den
Lack
spritzen und
trocknen.
