Operation
This chapter describes how to operate the unit in order
to balance a wheel.
The standard balancing runs will be described first. In
chapter 5.4 and up special modes and functions will be
described.
Be sure to be familiar with:

possible dangers, refer to chapter 1

the unit, refer to chapter 4.
5.1.
Wheel loading functionality
A truck wheel loading device is required by legislation,
which is why the unit has the wheel loading function.

To clamp the wheel, proceed as follows:
• Grip the Handle (2) and bring the unit close to the
wheel to be balanced.
• Adjust the Handle (1) until the shaft is aligned with
the centre of the wheel.
• Push the unit towards the wheel and clamp it lightly
on the shaft with the wing nut.
Note: The unit runs on the wheels (3) and shoes (4).
• Use the Handle (1) to lift until the wheel can rotate
freely, then tighten the clamping nut fully home.
To unclamp the wheel, proceed as follows:
• Use the Handle (1) to lower until the wheel rests on
the ground, then loosen the wheel clamping nut
slightly.
• • • • • Make sure that the shaft is aligned with the centre of
the wheel, using the Handle (2) if necessary, then
remove the clamping nut and other clamping devices.
• • • • • Pull the unit out of the wheel using the Handle (2).
