Vehicles with hydro-pneumatic or intelligent
suspension systems.
Adjust the vehicle with the engine running and
the suspensions at the normal height for use.
Vehicles with fixed rear axle.
The rear axle should still be measured to identify
any excessive anomalies, after which adjust the
front-half-toes in relation to the thrust axis; this
eliminates the crooked steering-wheel problem.

TROUBLESHOOTING

COMPLETE SYSTEM
The equipment shows no signs of
life
Mains voltage incorrect or not present
➥ Check the electrical system and hook-up the
equipment correctly.
Plug not fitted into socket correctly
➥ Connect the plug properly.
PC feeder not switched on
➥ Switch on the PC feeder using the button on
the rear of the PC.
Incorrect power supply voltage selected
➥ Set the voltage selector switch to the correct
position, and check that the transformer is
powered correctly
Monitor power switch is set to OFF
➥ Press the monitor switch. Check that the power
cable/monitor screen are connected correctly.
Monitor is not receiving power
➥ Renew the monitor fuse.
Robotized units
The robotized unit does not move or
moves irregularly
Check there are no obstacles to hinder unit
movement
➥ if there are, remove them.
Check that the power and signal cables are
connected correctly.
➥ follow the instructions for connecting the
cables if the cables are disconnected.
The robotized unit does not stop by
itself
The robotized unit stops only against the me-
chanical block of one of the external metal
sheets.

➥ Check that the travel limit sensor is working
and positioned at the right distance when
above the metal reference of the mechanical
limit stop.
The measuring unit with camera
("head") does not move or moves ir-
regularly
Check there are no weights on it or impedi-
ments to movement.
➥ if there are, remove them.
The power cable is not connected at the bottom
➥ connect the power cable appropriately leading
from the cable holder chain.
The power cable is not connected on the side
of the robotized unit's body
➥ connect the power cable appropriately leading
from the cable holder chain
The measuring unit with camera
("head") does not stop
The measuring unit with camera stops only
against the mechanical block of the vertical
guide
➥ Check that the travel limit sensor is working
and at the right distance when above the metal
limit stop reference.
Software application for
measuring wheel alignment
Problems with loading the operating
systems or application
The operating system does not load or remains
blocked
➥ Call Corghi SpA Technical Assistance
The application does not react to any
command
It remains blocked on the main screen
➥ Press "ESC" on the alphanumerical keypad.
Check that the keypad, mouse/trackball are
connected properly to the client PC.
The application gives inaccurate values
as regards to the characteristic ones
Check correct connection of the camera cables
➥ Connect the camera cables correctly.
Check that the field targets or field cameras
are neither obstructed or covered, totally or
partially
➥ Free the field cameras or field targets from
any covering or obstructions.
