15.3. Preparing the transmitter
The following steps must be carried out in order to pre-
pare the transmitter for the new model:
• Setting up a model memory
• Setting the stick mode
• Familiarising yourself with the transmitter controls
(switches / sliders)
• Determining the idle setting for throttle
• Determining the idle setting for spoiler
• Setting up Throttle Check

Setting up a new memory for the ACRO
type

The last used model type appears as the default.
Select the ACRO model type
Confirm the model type. This takes you automatically
to theIN MEM menu:
Select memory
Only vacant memories are offered.
Press the 3-D digi-adjustor briefly
chosen memory. This takes you to the menu for enter-
ing the model name.
Note: interrupting (no new model)
A long press on the 3-D digi-adjustor
process and returns you to the INFO 1 display.
A further brief press
on the 3-D digi-adjustor activates
input mode. The first character flashes.

The default model name is<ACRO, but you can
change this to anything you like.

Changing the model name
Use the 3-D digi-adjustor to search for the desired
character. The following characters are available:
0 to 9, :, /, <, -, >, ?, space, A to Z
Press the 3-D digi-adjustor again briefly .
The second character now flashes, and can be se-
lected in the same way.
Repeat this procedure until you have entered all six
characters. Press the 3-D digi-adjustor briefly
the sixth character to complete the name input process.
Note: interrupting the name input process
If the model name has less than six characters, you
can interrupt the process with a long press
D digi-adjustor. This returns you to the INFO 1 display.
The new model is now stored in the memory, and you
are returned to the "NAME" menu. You can move on to
other menus via "EXIT"; alternatively a long press
takes you directly to the INFO 1 display.

Setting the stick mode

SETUP
The stick mode determines which transmitter controls
operate the functions aileron, elevator, rudder, throttle
and spoiler. Eight modes are available.
In modes 1 to 4 THROTTLE is assigned to a stick, and
SPOILER is on the right-hand slider. In modes 5 to 8
the assignment for aileron / elevator / rudder is the
same, but SPOILER and THROTTLE are swapped, so
that SPOILER is controlled using the stick.
Study the table to locate the stick mode you wish to
use, then set the appropriate mode.
