Important:
Timer 2 resumes running if you switch on again.
The current time of Timer 2 is stored when you switch
the transmitter off. If you wish to start the time again
after switching off, you must first erase Timer 2 in the
INFO 3 or INFO 4 display (long press
digi-adjustor).
If you started Timer 2 before switching the transmitter
off, it starts running again immediately when you switch
the transmitter on again.
19.3. Additional timer switches
Any of the transmitter controls of the C
be used as a timer switch.
The switches are assigned in the T1 SW and T2 SW
menus using Quick-Select (move the transmitter con-
trol quickly until the desired code number appears).
The transmitter control then has to be moved to the
position at which you want the timer to run or start.

Switches 1 to 3
CS / A-ROT, D-R, SNAP / DTC
With the two-position switches 1 to 3 you can select the
position at which the timer is to run (Timer 1) or start

FLAP (left-hand slider)
If the left-hand slider (FLAP) is to be assigned as the
timer switch, you can select the switching threshold.
The method is the same as that described for the
THROTTLE (
19.1.1.)
The hyphen (marker) following the colon indicates the
selected switching threshold.

SPOILER
The SPOILER transmitter control can also be used as
a timer switch. Whether the SPOILER control is the

19.4. Helicopter timers
With helicopters, the timers operate in exactly the same
manner as described for the model types EASY, ACRO
and GLIDER. The only difference is that the stick /
right-hand slider option is not present, as the HELI
model type only offers modes 1 to 4.
The following applies to helicopters:
Switch 5 is always the COLLECTIVE PITCH / THROT-
TLE stick
Switch 7 is always the right-hand slider (Throttle Limit)
19.4.1.
Recording the motor run time
Use Timer 1 to record the motor run. The following
alternative methods of switching the timer are avail-
able:
a.
COLL. PITCH / THROTTLE stick = Switch 5
Switch 5 is programmed using the method des-
cribed under
a.
Throttle Limiter (THR-LIMIT) = Switch 7
If you wish to switch the timer using the right-hand
slider, it is programmed using the method des-
cribed under
19.4.2.
Recording the total flight time
Timer 2 is used for the overall flight time. A suitable
switch is the COLLECTIVE PITCH / THROTTLE stick.
The timer starts running when you move the stick from
the minimum position beyond the selected switching
threshold.
The programming is carried out as described under
19.3.
19.5. Transmitter operating time
Menu: OP TIM
The transmitter's total operating time can be read off in
the INFO 5 display; the maximum time is 99 hours and
59 minutes. If this time is exceeded, the timer stops at
99:59, and must be reset to 00:00 (see below).
