Dräger Polytron 5000 Series
Remedy
Unplug the power supply
cable. Connect the sensor.
Reconnect the power sup-
ply cable.
The sensor is a different
type to the previously
installed sensor. Install a
sensor of the same type or
press and hold [OK] for
5 seconds to confirm the
new sensor. Note: Factory
settings will be loaded.
Check that all configura-
tion values are correct.
Press [OK] to acknowl-
edge. Check all configura-
tion settings and
adjustment. (Turn off alarm
activation if applicable.)

Troubleshooting
Remedy
Unplug the power supply
cable; check the field wiring
between the Polytron 5xx0
and the controller; recon-
nect the power supply
cable.
Restart the instrument.
