Press the ON/OFF/EJECT lever
downwards (y) and remove the"
cassette (if present).
Press the cassette holder downwards
halfway and with the other hand push
pin 'A' down. Allow the cassette
holder to rise again.
Hold the cassette holder as shown
and remove
it.
Moisten the piece of chamois leather
with the cleaning fluid from the small
bottle provided.
Turn the drum by.hand so that the
video heads are as shown on the
diagram.
Using the chamois leather, clean the
front of the erase head (a), the
capstan (b), the front of the
audio/sync head (c) and the pressure
roller (d).
After every 200 hours of operating
time, clean the grooves (e) in the
drum. DO NOT TOUCH THE VIDEO
HEADS (see Page 34 Step 1).
