On the VCR press the Pre-tuning
Button (1, 2, 3, 4, 5, 6 or 7) that
corresponds to the TV channel being
shown on the TV set, e.g. Button 2 if
the second pre-selector on the TV set.

explained later. The VIDEO lamp
lights to show reception of a
broadcast signal, the COLOUR
lamp
lights if the programme is in colour
and the intensity of the AUDIO lamp
varies with the strenght of the audio
signal.
About a minute before the programme
to be recorded is due to begin, press
the RECORD
key and the START key
simultaneously.
When the desired programme
begins,
press the reset button to set the tape
counter to 000.
You are now recording the desired
programme.
If you wish, you can
select and watch a different channel
on the TV set (parallel recording) or
even switch off the TV set without
affecting the programme being
recorded. You can check if the correct
channel is being recorded on the VCR
by pressing the last pre-selector on
the TV.
When you have recorded the
programme,
press the STOP
bar and if»
all the tape has not been used, make. a
note of the tape counter reading.
