When the tape counter registers 000
press the STOP bar.
Set the ON/OFF/EJECT
lever to the
OFF position.
Switch on the television set and allow
it to warm up.
A modern television has a number of
separate tuning controls, each having
an associated pre-selector button. If
your television is not tuned to receive
the different channels available in
your area, do it now. However, leave
the last of the television pre-selectors
free for use with the VCR. Press this
last pre-selector.
Set the ON/OFF/EJECT lever to the
ON position (A).
NOTE Should the VCR automatically
switch off at this stage, reset the lever
to the ON position (4).
Press the START key and set the
TRACKING
control to the "q position.
On the television set, adjust the last
tuning control (reserved for use with
the VCR) between Channels 42 and 32
(high to low) until a picture is received
on the television set.
