Using your VCR
Part 1 Recording and
parallel recording
Before using the VCR it has to be set-
up as detailed in Pages 42 to 62.
The following instructions apply to
both recording and parallel recording.
The only difference is found in Step
13.
Take an unused cassette, or one with
an unwanted recording from its case
by first pressing at the place marked
PUSH to release the lid, then opening
the lid as shown. There is no need to
erase an unwanted recording as this is
done automatically when the new
recording is made.
NOTE Recording cannot be carried
out on a cassette when the small lug
on the side has been knocked out.

If there is a yellow core packed with
the cassette, refer to Page 40.
Press the ON/OFF/EJECT lever of the
VCR downwards
(9) to release the
cassette holder.
Hold the cassette as shown in the
diagram opposite. Slide the cassette
completely into the cassette holder.
