Set the tape counter to 000 using the
reset button.
Press the ACTIVATE
button. The red
lamp 'TIMER' lights. Slide the cover of
the clock controls to the right. There
is no need to switch on the TV set.
The VCR will be switched on at the
proper time, the recording made and
the VCR switched off, all
automatically.
When you arrive home after the
recording has been made, note the
tape counter reading, set the
ON/OFF/EJECT lever to the ON
position (@), rewind the tape to the
beginning and set the lever to the OFF
position. After the mains indicator
lamp goes out, press the lever
downwards
(w) and remove the
cassette. Write down the title and tape
counter readings and replace the
cassette in its case.
A more efficient use of the timer
\f both the » Pand Pp buttons are
pressed and one of the selector
buttons, the settings are as follows:

These can speed up the clock setting
