Connect the VCR to the mains supply.
IMPORTANT
The wires in the mains lead are
coloured according to the following
code:
Blue: Neutral
Brown: Live
lf the mains plug (or adaptor) contains
a fuse, the value of this fuse should be
3 AMP. Alternatively, if another type of
plug is used, the fuse at the
distribution board should not be
greater than 5 AMP.
As the colours of the wires may not
correspond with the markings in your
plug, you then must proceed as
follows:
@ The BLUE wire should be
connected to the terminal marked
'N' or coloured black.
@ The BROWN
wire should be
connected to the terminal marked
'L' or coloured red.
Slide the cover over the clock controls
to the left.
Set the correct time with the >Por >»
button.
Connect the TV set to the mains
supply.
NOTE Now that the VCR has been
installed it is still possible to use the
television set in the normal manner
provided that the VCR is not
disconnected from the mains supply.
if, during the playback mode of
operation, you wish to have the sound
recording reproduced through an
audio amplifier as well as to the TV
set, connect an amplifier to the
AUDIO socket at the rear of the VCR.
It is also possible to record the sound
track using a tape recorder connected
to the AUDIO socket during playback.
