Check the setting of the day by
pressing the DAY button, the start
time with the START TIME button and,
the recording length with the REC.
LENGTH
button. If any are incorrect
repeat the relevant procedure.
Take an unused cassette, or one with
an unwanted programme, from its
case, press the ON/OFF/EJECT
lever
downwards
(#), slide the cassette into
the cassette holder and press the
cassette holder down firmly until it
locks in position.
If the tape reel of the cassette (as
seen through the cassette holder
window) is empty, the tape has been
completely rewound. If not, set the
lever to the ON position and press the
REWIND key. When the REWIND key
springs back, set the lever to the OFF
position.
When the mains indicator lamp goes
out, press the RECORD
key and the
START key, simultaneously.
Press the pre-tuning button on the
VCR that selects the required TV
channel. For example,
Button 2 for the
programme selected by the second TV
preselector.
