Dimensions (if specified) may have tolerances accord-
ing to EN ISO 13920-B.
The legend applies to all CSV. compressors and con-
tains connection positions that do not exist in every
compressor series.

Life-threatening voltages inside the FI housing!
Contact can lead to serious injuries or death.
Never open the FI housing in operation!
Switch off the main switch and secure it against
being switched on again.
Wait for at least 5 minutes until all capacitors
have been discharged!
Before switching on again, close the FI housing.
The frequency inverter-controlled drive has been de-
signed in accordance with the requirements of the EU
Directive for Electromagnetic Compatibility 2014/30/EU.
The electrical equipment complies with the EU Low
Voltage Directive 2014/35/EU.
Connections for voltage supply and FI control, see
ST-160. A simple electrical connection diagram can be
found on the inner side of the FI housing cover.

The FI housing cover fits very tight. Therefore when
mounting:
• Press the peripheral groove of the cover into the in-
tended position.
• Insert the screws and tighten them a little. Insert the
screw on the bottom right last. If needed, lift the
edge of the housing cover.
• Tighten the screws cross-wise to the prescribed
torque.

High electrostatic discharge voltage possible.
Risk of electric shock!
Also earth the compressor housing!

The compressor and the FI were already submitted to a
high potential test in the factory according to EN12693
or according to UL984 or UL60335-2-34 for the UL
model.

!
!
Risk of damage to the insulation and motor fail-
ure!
Possible destruction of the FI electronics!
Never repeat the high potential test in the same
way!
A renewed high potential test may only be carried out
with a maximum direct current voltage of 1,500 V.
Preparatory work and the test shall only be carried out
by specially trained and qualified personnel!

Test the compressor with reduced direct current
voltage:
• Remove the FI housing cover.
• Connect all 3 motor conductor rails (at the top of the
FI) with all 3 terminals at the FI input (L1, L2, L3).
• Carry out the test.
• Remove the test cables and close the FI housing
cover.
