4.3 GUARDS, PROTECTION AND
SAFETY DEVICES
IMPORTANT
To protect against electrocution, the
machine must be earthed with cable
of adequate cross section.
With the machine at a standstill, to clean
or service internal parts always interrupt
power and indicate work in progress
(see fig.4.1).
To correctly store and use the various
tools, always wear leather gloves (see
fig.4.2).
IMPORTANT!
During machining operations, the
protection devices must not be removed
and the safety devices must not be
touched, changed or disengaged.
This will protect the operator and any
other person exposed to danger.
