with suitable equipment.
3. Check the retaining ring is positioned correctly. The retaining ring secures the
pressure disc.
4. Carefully remove the propeller from the shaft: Screw in the M16 screw (min. 40 mm
long) into the pressure disc. This presses the propeller from the shaft. CAU-
TION! The mechanical seal is now no longer secured. Only operate the mixer
with the propeller! If the mixer is operated without the propeller, the mechan-
ical seal will be destroyed. If the mechanical seal is faulty, oil escapes from the
pre-chamber.
5. Clean the shaft and apply new lubricating grease.
6. Carefully slide the propeller back on as far as it will go.
7. Securing the propeller: Coat the interior hexagonal head screw with the thread-
locking fluid, insert the washer and screw it into the shaft.
8. Tighten the propeller attachment. Max. tightening torque: see appendix.
9. Turn the propeller by hand and check that it rotates easily.
10.Insert a new sealing plug or seal the propeller attachment using Sikaflex.
▶ Propeller is changed. Check the oil quantity in the pre-chamber and if necessary,
