Universal Serial Bus (USB)
The GVCI-MX has a fixed USB configuration which cannot
be changed. This ensures that the GVCI-MX can always
be connected to a single PC running the VCI Manager
software so you can configure WLAN settings required
by your local network. In addition, it is important to
note that a USB connection is required to configure and
update the firmware on the GVCI-MX. USB connection
must be made directly with the PC port. Do not connect
through a USB hub.
4.6
Wireless Local Area Network (WLAN)
The 802.11g WLAN connection on the GVCI-MX is set up
and configured while the device is connected over USB
to a PC running the VCI Manager software. For setting
up a wireless connection please refer to „5.3 Setting Up
Wireless Communications".
4.7
