Error and Warning Messages
Display messages are indicated visually on the pump display, as well as audibly.
Audible tones to indicate warnings or operation updates (audible tones) are
emitted a certain number of times.

Error and Warning Messages
Instructions
Remove and re-insert tube set. If mes-
sage recurs, switch to a new tube set.
Tube set recognition function indicates
tube set has been used already. Insert
new tube set.
Flow path is blocked. Check that bag
clamps & hysteroscope stopcock are
open. Check that tube set is free of
obstructions.
Replace tube set. Tube set does not
match type necessary for Aquilex Sys-
tem.
"Pause/Resume" button was activated.
Hit "Pause/Resume" button again to con-
tinue operation.
Removal of canister without activating.
Pause button. Insert empty canister and
hit "Pause/Resume" button.
Most commonly triggered when hystero-
scope stopcock is closed while pump is
operating at peak flow rate. Open hys-
teroscope stopcock or other occlusion to
relieve pressure.
Pressure has exceeded 200 mmHg safety
limit and must be reduced. Most proba-
ble cause is hysteroscope being closed
while pump was operating at peak flow
rate.
Open inflow stopcock on hysteroscope or
obstruction that is pinching inflow tube
set.
The message Maximum pressure is dis-
played if the intrauterine pressure
exceeds 150 mmHg.
Physician must respond appropriately.
Physician must respond appropriately.
Conduct manual deficit assessment, if
necessary.
Pressures exceeding 100 mmHg are not
usually required for hysteroscopy. Dili-
gent monitoring of fluid deficit is recom-
mended.
Check scale connection. Reconnect scale
and restart device. If message recurs,
contact Hologic.
System check must be performed with
tube set removed from the roller wheel
assembly. Remove tube set and wait for
audible tone and display to indicate
"Insert Tube Set."
Check bag clamp(s) and hysteroscope
inflow stopcock are open. Hit "Prime"
button to restart.
Physician must respond appropriately.
Conduct manual deficit assessment, if
necessary.
