Warning
The shock absorber is filled with gas under pressure
and may cause severe damage if taken apart by unskilled
persons.
If the motorcycle is to be ridden with a pillion rider and
luggage, we recommend setting rear shock absorber
spring preload to the maximum to ensure the best
handling and proper ground clearance at all times. It may
also be necessary to adjust rebound damping accordingly.

Front fork adjusters (fig. 26-fig. 27)
The front fork has rebound and compression damping
adjusters.
This adjustment is performed using outer screw-type
adjusters:
1) (fig. 26) to adjust rebound damping;
2) (fig. 26) to adjust inner springs preload;
3) (fig. 27) to adjust compression damping.
To set rebound damping, turn the top adjuster (1) on
each fork leg with a small flat screwdriver. To turn adjuster
(3, fig. 27) insert a screwdriver through the hole in the
wheel spindle at the fork leg axis. Adjusters (1) and (3)
have click settings corresponding to different damping
positions. The hardest damping is obtained with the
adjuster fully tightened to the "0" position.
Start with this position and turn counterclockwise.
Count the screw clicks, which correspond to position 1, 2
and so forth.
