Raising the fuel tank

Warning
To prevent spillage of fuel from the filler cap breather
hole, ensure the quantity of fuel in the tank is less than 5 l.
Remove the seat (page 27), raise the hook (1, fig. 41).
Lift fuel tank and release service rod (2, fig. 42) from
beneath the seat;
Rest tank on the service rod.
To refit the unit perform the disassembly steps in reverse
order.
Warning
When lowering the fuel tank, take care to route the
hoses so as to avoid them being pinched or crushed.
