Problem
Ice machine
produces shallow or
incomplete cubes,
or the ice fill pattern
on the evaporator is
incomplete.
Low ice capacity.

Possible Cause
Ice thickness probe is out of
adjustment.
Water trough level is too low. Check the water level probe
Water inlet valve filter screen
is dirty.
Water filtration is poor.
Hot incoming water.
Water inlet valve is not
working.
Incorrect incoming water
pressure.
Ice machine is not level.
Water inlet valve filter screen
is dirty.
Incoming water supply is shut
off.
Water inlet valve stuck open
or leaking.
High air temperature entering
condenser.
The harvest assist air
compressor is not functioning.
To Correct
Adjust the ice thickness probe
position. (See page 37)
Remove the water inlet valve and
de-scale the filter screen.
Replace the filter.
Connect the ice machine to a cold
water supply.
Clean or replace the water inlet
valve. (See page 36)
Water pressure must be 20 psi -
80 psi (1.37 - 5.5 bar).
Level the ice machine.
(See page 15)
Remove the water inlet valve and
de-scale the filter screen.
(See page 36)
Open the water supply valve.
Move the toggle switch and turn off
the ice machine, if water continues
to enter water trough, replace the
water inlet valve.
Refer to minimum/maximum air
temperature chart for your model
(See page 14).
Call for service.
