Safety notes on the automatic and alarm functions
Please note: The values that you set for the output channels, ventilators and for
the multifunctional relay will only take effect in the automatic mode. Automatic
operation is carried out in the starting position of the control, i.e. if weather data
are displayed. As long as you are in the adjustment menus, automatic operation
is deactivated. If during the adjustment of menus no entry is made for more than
2 minutes, the control will automatically return to its starting position.
In case of incipient rain, a certain time may pass depending on the amount of
rain and on the outdoor temperature, until rain is detected by the weather
station. In addition, a closing time must be taken into account for electrically
operated windows or sliding doors. Any items that are sensitive to moisture
should therefore not be placed in areas where they might be damaged by
penetrating moisture. Please also consider that for example in case of power
failure and incipient rain the windows are no longer automatically closed if no
emergency power generator has been fitted.
Please note that any rails of blinds and awnings that are fitted outdoors may
freeze. If the drive is then activated, blind and motor may be damaged.
Please always make sure that no persons can be present in the
motion area of system components that are moved by electric
motor (danger of bruising!). The relevant building regulations
must be complied with.
Power failure, maintenance works, etc. (restart of control)
In case of power failure, the control can no longer access the connected drives. If
the full functional range is to be guaranteed even if case of failed power supply,
an emergency power generator with corresponding system transfer from mains
operation to emergency operation must be installed on site.
The saved settings in the control programme will remain intact even in case of
power failure.
If cleaning or maintenance works are to be carried out at your conservatory, the
control must be volt-free and must be secured against re-start. This is to make
sure that the connected drives cannot be started.
After each restart (e.g. when voltage returns after a power
failure or when a manual reset takes place) all drives and
devices are in automatic mode.
