Units for sun and wind
The intensity of the sun is displayed in lux or kilolux (abbreviated: Kl). The value
1 kilolux is already reached with an overcast sky, at 20 kilolux the sun is just
coming out, and 100 kilolux will be reached in case of cloudless sky at noon.
According to experience, the extension of shadings is recommended with 40
kilolux and more.
The wind speeds are displayed in meter per second, which is abbreviated with
m/s on the display. The ideal wind values for shading and windows depend on
the site of the conservatory and the position of the weather station. Watch the
reaction of the awning or blind or the window with wind and adjust the wind
value adequatly. The following table serves to facilitate identification of the
optimum values for your conservatory:
