Commissioning
If a device is brought from a cold to a warm area, condensation
can form. Before starting the device up, please ensure there is
no moisture inside it (if necessary leave to dry).
After wiring the system and checking all connection, please proceed as follows:
•
Switch on mains voltage. The control system programme will boot up.
•
Model and software version, calibration byte of the oscillator ("HEX OSC")
and serial number ("SN") will initially be displayed.
•
A search will be carried out for a connected RF868 radio module. The
display will show "ok" or "not found". The module is only required if radio
subscribers are to be connected.
•
In a search run, the connected WGBLs will be displayed. "ok" after a
number means that a WGBL (ventilation modules) was found with this
address and is properly connected. "rf" after a number means that a radio
subscriber is connected to this address (i.e. "rf" will only be displayed after
re-start of the control, after the basic configuration has been carried out
with connection of the radio subscribers).
•
Then a search will be carried out for a WGTH (indoor sensor). The display
will show "installed" or "not installed".
•
All available sensors will then be internally checked. The display will show
"passed" if the corresponding sensor is faultless, and "error" if the sensor
is not properly connected or if it is faulty.
After this start inspection sequence, the control will be in its starting position.
Weather data will be displayed, and the automatic programme is active. In case
of DCF radio reception, the clock will then automatically be set after approx. 10
minutes. In case of insufficient signal, the clock may be set manually (please also
refer to chapter "Adjustment of the date and time", p. 86)
Inspection of the sun sensor
The light intensity sensor is located underneath the cover of the weather station.
If light intensity is insufficient, illuminate the weather station with a strong torch
until a value is displayed.
