Connection of an external indoor sensor (WGTH)
An
additional
separate
indoor
sensor
for
temperature
and
humidity
measurements may be connected to the control. It is to be connected to the "WG
bus" terminals.
When selecting the place of installation, please make sure that no direct draught
from windows or doors will falsify the measured values.
In an external indoor sensor has been connected, the indoor temperature and
humidity are exclusively measured with this sensor.
During the running inspection sequence after re-start, it will be indicated on the
display whether an external sensor is connected. If no external sensor is
connected, the display will show the message "not installed!" after the search.
Connection of the output channels
Each drive that must be controlled separately, requires its own output channel. It
is not possible to individually control drives that are connected in a group to a
channel.
Only drives with the same function (only windows, only awnings, only blinds)
may be combined in groups.
Blinds with different alignments (east, south, west) should be connected to
different channels. This is the only way to efficiently use the position of the sun
for controlling the blinds.
Please take particular care with blinds in front of doors and awnings above
windows. A combination control of two channels, such as "only open window if
awning is retracted" is not possible.
In case of parallel connection of motors, please observe whether a group control
relay has been prescribed by the motor manufacturer. Group control relays can
be purchased from Elsner Elektronik or from the motor manufacturer.
Especially different blind and awning drives may usually only be operated with a
group control relay at one output channel.
If motors are connected in parallel, which are not suitable for
this purpose, this will damage the motors and the control.
