Motors with a rated input exceeding 400 Watt must be operated with a relay or
switch with an independent feeder.
For direct current drives, we offer suitable power supply units. In case of need,
please indicate the type of motor, the manufacturer and – if available – the
technical data.
Connection of Elsner wireless ventilation units
In order to be able to operate ventilation units at the WS1 control, the RF868
radio module must be installed (is supplied with the ventilators). The radio
module is connected to the "WG bus" terminals. Please observe the installation
notes enclosed with the ventilators and the RF868 radio module.
Connection of ventilators to WGBL ventilation modules
The ventilation modules must be installed concealed and in dry rooms. In case
of surface type installation, suitable bushes must be fitted. The connection of the
WGBL to the WG Bus consists of a two-pair telephone cable. The length of the
feed line must not exceed 100 m. Please also observe the installation notes
enclosed with the ventilation module.
Motion detector and alarm output
Two Jung system sensors may be connected to the connecting terminals + / - / S
(motion detector). Please install the motion sensors outside the conservatory, in
order to detect approaching persons or animals.
In case of activated burglary alarm and an identified sensor signal, all windows
connected to the control will be closed. If no other sensor signal is received
within the next 5 minutes, the control will return to normal operation.
Instead of motion detectors, another device may be connected with potential-
free contact between the terminals - and S, which will then be relevant for the
alarm function.
If the multifunctional relay was configured as alarm output, it will be activated
for the duration of the alarm message. The relay has a potential-free closing
contact, which is freely available (f. ex. for connection of garden illumination or
alarm system). The contact may be loaded with 230 V AC / 2 A.
