5. The software update then begins.
When the update is complete, the analyzer automatically restarts.
CAUTION: Do not remove the CD or remove power until after the ana-
lyzer shuts down and restarts to complete the software
update, or you could damage the analyzer.
9.5 Returning the Analyzer to Abaxis for Service
The Piccolo Xpress must be shipped in an authorized shipping container. Authorization for shipping
and servicing the analyzer must be obtained from Abaxis Technical Support before sending the ana-
lyzer.
To obtain authorization for service on the analyzer, call Abaxis Technical Support.
Note: All patient data is erased when an analyzer is serviced. Before sending in your analyzer,
be sure to back up all patient records. For instructions, see
