Fixing To The Ground; Pneumatic Hook Up - SICE S 45 Manuel D'instructions

FITTING THE TOOL BOX (S 45 GP ONLY):
1) Fix the supporting upright (26, Fig. M/1) by fitting the screws (1, Fig.
Q) into the holes provided in the rear of the tyre changer.
2) Fix the tool box with readout unit (28, Fig. M/2) to the supporting
upright (26, Fig. M/2) using the screws (29, Fig. M/2).
3) Fit the 2 hoses (30-31, Fig. M/1) leading out of the readout unit into
the hole provided in the back of the tyre changer (see Fig. M/1).
4) Open the tyre changer's left-hand side panel.
5) Inside the tyre changer there are 2 hoses leading from the inflation device,
already fitted with snap connectors.
Connect the hose (30, Fig. M/3) labelled "A" to the corresponding hose
(32, Fig. M/3) labelled in the same way.
Then connect the hose (31, Fig. M/3) to the hose (33, Fig. M/3).
6) Close the left-hand side panel.

6.4 FIXING TO THE GROUND

1- Prepare the following tools:
N. 1 - Hex spanner 13
N. 1 - Electric drill
N. 1 - Concrete drill bit diam. 13 long
N. 4 - Metal expansion screw anchors 13x50
N. 4 - M 8 x 50 anchor screws.
2- Drill four holes in the floor corresponding to the holes pre-drilled in the
base. Holes should be 80 mm deep. Use the long, 13 mm concrete drill bit.
3- Insert the expansion plugs and tighten with the 13 mm spanner.

6.5 PNEUMATIC HOOK UP

For correct pneumatic hook-up, proceed as follows:
1) Lower the pedal (5, Fig. P) all the way down to avoid sudden opening
of the clamps.
2) Connect the machine to a compressed air supply (with recommended oper-
ating pressure of 8 - 10 bar) by means of the coupling (1, Fig. N/1) supplied
as standard, using a 7 – 8 mm (internal Ø) rubber hose for compressed air.
WARNING!
The compressed air pressure must not exceed 16
bar.
3) If your tyre changer is not provided with its own inflation device (GP
version), a connection (2, Fig. N/2) can be fitted on the back to fit an
inflation gun.
