12. Programming the Remote Control
The remote control is pre-set for the helicopter „HCP80 3D" in the factory. Nevertheless, you can individually adjust
the control behaviour of your model helicopter to your control habits. To receive the original data, we recommend that
you copy the model memory used ex works and to only make changes in the copied model memory.
For the best adjustment to your model, your remote control offers different setting menus: In the system setting menu
„SYSTEM", the general basic parameters are set or selected. Then the parameters referring to the respective model
type are entered in the function setting menu „Function".
The settings are made with six buttons that have the following functions:
„INC (+)" button (8)
This button increases or changes the value of the setting called. Pushing and holding the button leads to quick chang-
ing of the setting values.
„DEC (-)" button (9)
This button reduces or changes the value of the setting called. Pushing and holding the button leads to quick changing
of the setting values.
„SELECT" button (10)
This button calls the programming menu or selected menu items.
„CLEAR" button (12)
This button leaves the currently called menu and switches back to the operating display step by step in the menu
structure.
„DOWN" button (13)
With this button, you can move down within the menu structure.
„UP" button (14)
With this button, you can move up within the menu structure.
Even though the remote control is designed for many model helicopter types and for plane models as well,
these operating instructions only explain the settings relevant for the „HCP80 3D".
