9. Using the remote control

The numbers used in these instructions refer to the illustration alongside the text or the illustrations within
the respective section. Cross references to other figures are indicated with the corresponding number.
The pictures of the remote control and model in this manual are provided for reference purposes only. The
stickers, design and colour scheme may differ from those in the pictures.
a) Inserting the batteries
3 AA batteries are required to power the remote control (e.g. Conrad item no. 652278, please order 3x).
For safety reasons and to ensure a longer battery life, do not use rechargeable batteries to power the
remote control.
To insert the batteries, proceed as follows:
Loosen the screw (1) from the battery compartment cover
(2) on the back of the remote control, and then remove the
battery compartment cover.
Insert the batteries into the battery compartment (3). Pay
attention to the polarity markings to ensure that the batter-
ies are inserted in the correct polarity.
Replace the battery compartment cover and tighten the
screw (1).
