4.7 Whitelist

Requirements for using the whitelist
Managing users with a whitelist is only possible if the
following prerequisites are met:
 Operation of the charging column without backend.
 Using the "Open Charge Point Protocol v1.5" (See
chapter "Application protocol" on page 23)
 Disabling the "Legacy UID" see chapter "Settings" on
page 11).
The charging station can be used without prior
authorization. This depends on the product and on the
configuration of the "Reader Type" parameter in the SCU
configuration (see chapter "Settings" on page 11).
Charging without authorization
If the charging station was configured during the setting-up
process that no authorization is required, the charging
process starts automatically after connecting the charging
cable to the vehicle.
Charging with RFID authorization (whitelist)
For RFID authorization, prior once-off registration of the
user's RFID card at the charging station is required. The
charging station can manage up to 1000 RFID cards in an
internal database (whitelist).

4.7.1 Add users whitelist

For RFID authorization, prior once-off registration of the
user's RFID card at the charging station is required. The RFID
card can be registered in three ways:
1. Manual entry under "Add user"
2. Teaching an RFID card under "Add user"
3. Upload a list of all users under "Upload"

Note on data protection!
For reasons of data protection, appropriate pseudonyms
should be used instead of the actual user names.
