4.4.1 SCU Administration

For the ACU to communicate with SCUs, they require
pairing with the ACU. For this process, an automatic search
function is integrated.
The SCUs of charging points found are pre-configured to
32 A.
For systems without the "auto switch", only cables of
32 A cables are acceptable due to the specified fuse
value.

Parameters Description
ID Automatically assigned address of the SCU
(non-editable) in the bus network of the
ACU.
Name Unique name of the SCU.
Status Status of the SCU:
 Power on / boot / Bus Scan: Restart
including time synchronization
 Install: Parameters must be checked
and adjusted
 Idle: Ready for charging
 User authentification: Authorization to
start charging process is running
 Charge permission: Waiting for
permission to charge
 Check User Cable: Check that a
charging cable is plugged in
 Charge in progress: Charging process
is running:
 Billing: Billing is carried out
 SCU disabled: Out of service
 Download FW Update: Firmware is
being downloaded
 Flash FW: Firmware update is running
 SCU reserved: Charging point reserved

Software Updating the SCU firmware.
update Requirements:
 A connection to the upgrade server
exists.
 The upgrade server has a new
software version available.
In the case of a backend connection,
the SCU is updated by the backend.
If the SCU is not connected to the
Internet or the update server, the
update can only be done offline.
