4.6.3 Network
ACU-Network – Network configuration
Only if the mobile connection is disabled, see "ACU-
Network – GPRS configuration" on page 22.
If several ACUs are used in a charging infrastructure or the
default address of the ACU has already been assigned, the
IP addresses of the ACU can be adjusted if required.

Parameters
Description
IP
IP address of the ACU in the network.
Netmask
Subnet mask of the ACU.
Gateway

The number of network interfaces depends on the type
of ACU:
ACU v3: only eth0 interface
ACU v4: eth0 and eth1 interface
For the ACU v4, use the ETH0 interface for
configuration.
In case of the ACU v4, use the interface ETH1 for
maintenance if the connection to the backend should
remain.
Fixed IP addresses
Set the IP addresses of the ACU as follows:
1. Enter the IP address data according to your network
configuration:
Delivery state for eth0:
IP address: 192.168.0.10
Subnet mask: 255.255.255.0
Standard gateway: 192.168.0.1
DNS No.1: 192.168.0.1
DNS No.2: 192.168.0.1
Delivery state for eth1:
IP address: 192.168.100.10
Subnet mask: 255.255.255.0
Standard gateway: 192.168.100.1
DNS No.1: 192.168.100.1
DNS No.2: 192.168.100.1
Dynamic IP addresses through DHCP
For dynamic assignment of IP addresses, ensure the
assignment of a unique IP address to the ACU so that
you can still access the ACU afterwards!
In case of the ACU v4, we recommend to assign a
dynamic IP address only to one of the two interfaces.
