ACU Backend – Auth & Billing
The "Auth & Billing" tab is only available if "Mennekes
Binary Protocol 3.9" is selected.
The authorization server, which is used to compare the
user's login data before a charging process is specified via
the "Auth & Billing". The entire communication with the
server can be encrypted if desired.
If the interface under the tab "Auth & Billing" is
deactivated, RFID cards handle all authorization
requests.

Listen port of the authorization server.
Name
Access name for server.
Pass
Access password for server.
Encrypt
To be activated if connection is to be
encrypted via certificate.
Upload
Upload X.509 certificate if connection is to

Encrypting the connection
Precondition:
You are in possession of a valid X.509 certificate. The
certificate is available on request from your backend
operator.

ACU Backend – Backend-Server / Monitoring
The "Backend server" tab is only active if "Open Charge
Point Protocol v1.5" is selected. If you select the
"Mennekes Binary Protocol 3.9", the "Monitoring" tab
will appear instead.
The "Backend Server / Monitoring" tab is used to configure
the connection to the backend server and the time interval
for transmitting the data to the server.
With a short time interval, large amounts of data can
accumulate in a short period. This may lead to high
costs when using a GPRS connection to the backend.
