ACU-Network – GPRS configuration
The ACU has a built-in modem and can communicate with
the backend of the charging network operator via GPRS.

To avoid unnecessary costs, the SIM card should have a
flat rate for data volume.
Depending on the backend used, further requirements
on the SIM card may exist that are not covered in this
documentation.
Requirements:
The ACU uses a valid SIM card.
The ACU is not connected to a backend via the LAN
interface.
You have valid login details (access point name, user
name and password) of your mobile service provider.

Activate when using mobile

Input: Access point name of your mobile
service provider.
LTE Auth
LTE authorization enabled
LTE authorization disabled
This setting is useful if the LTE network is
too unstable.
2G only
Only 2G connection enabled
Only 2G connection disabled
If "2G only" is enabled, the ACU only
connects to the 2G network. This setting
makes sense if the UMTS and LTE
networks are too unstable.
CHAP
CHAP authentication enabled
CHAP authentication disabled (PAP
authentication is used)
Ask your network service provider if CHAP
or PAP is being used.
Name
Input: User name for your mobile service
access.
Pass
Input: Password of your mobile service
access.
Ping server 1,
Input: ping1.mennekes.de /
Ping server 2
ping2.mennekes.de (or corresponding
server address of the backend operator).
GPRS
Status of the GPRS connection.
