Potential Side Effects and Complications

Surgical procedures always carry a risk of adverse effects/complications. In most cases, these are not
caused by the product used, but rather due to clinical conditions. The possible general adverse
effects/complications that may occur in relation to the use of implant systems include:
• Loosening of the implant
• Breaking of the implant
• Material sensitivity or allergic reactions
• Qualitative and/or quantitative impairment of the hard and/or soft tissue
• Infections
• Wound-healing disorders
• Dislocation of the implant
• Sensitivity reactions
