General information
• A specific user ID (a number from
at the beginning) can be assigned to each user fingerprint.
• Fingerprints can also be added without a user ID. This speeds
up the adding of fingerprints.
• If a user ID is not specified when a user fingerprint is added,
the code lock will automatically assign the next available user
ID. However, it will not then be possible to determine which
ID was assigned.
If you do not assign a specific user ID to a user and
record it in a list, this can lead to problems later.
If an employee leaves the company or loses a user
transponder, you will not know which user ID to delete,
and the fingerprint will not be available for deletion!
Instead of simply deleting the corresponding user ID
with the saved fingerprint, all data stored in the code
lock would have to be deleted for security reasons in
order to prevent unauthorised access.
We therefore recommend that you assign a user ID for
each authorised person and enter all data (employee
name, user ID, access by transponder or fingerprint,
etc.) in a list.
