Input for separate door opener button (wire: yellow)
The potential-free changeover contact can be activated by
pressing a button (NO contact). For example, it can be used for
manual activation of a door opener. If you need to connect more
than one button, connect them in parallel.
a) Connection
• Connect the connection cables to the corresponding screw
terminals on the back of the code lock. Two circuit examples
are shown in section "b) Circuit diagrams".
• A direct voltage of 9 to 18 V must be used for the power supply.
The DC voltage must be located at the place of installation
(e.g. bell transformer or plug-in power supply unit). When
using a DC voltage, ensure that the cables are connected
in the correct polarity (observe the positive/+ and negative/-
markings).
Never connect a mains voltage here! Risk of fatal
electric shock!
• The "OPEN" and "COM" screw terminals can be used to
connect a door opener, which can be placed inside the room
next to the door. If required, you can also connect additional
buttons for other door openers in parallel.
• Always connect the earth, as this prevents ESD (electrostatic
discharge) or interference that may cause the code lock to
malfunction.
