p) Security function for invalid access
attempts
An alarm sounds or the code lock is locked to deny the user
access (e.g. if an attempt is made to try multiple transponders).
This alarm function can be enabled and disabled (see section 11
"Programming" "o) Setting the alarm duration").
Pressing the opening button opens the lock from the
inside even when the alarm is active. Pressing the
opening button does not switch off the alarm.
The following functions are available:
No lock (default setting)
Invalid access attempts are ignored.
Lock for ten minutes
If ten invalid access attempts are made with a transponder or
a fingerprint, the code lock will be locked for ten minutes. The
LED indicator (2) will flash red. During this time, access cannot be
gained, even with valid transponders or fingerprints.
Triggering an alarm
After 10 invalid access attempts have been made via a
transponder or fingerprints, the code lock sounds an alarm.
The alarm duration is adjustable (from 1 to 3 minutes, default
setting = 1 minute), as described in section 11 "Programming",
"o) Setting the alarm duration".
