ATTENTION :
At this point check that there is a gap of
1-2 mm. between the end plug and the
lock nut C, so ensuring that the end plug
B is completely tightened on the rod G .
This is the guarantee of the maximum
traction seal.
lower forcibly the spring keeping the spacer D and the

spring supporting washer R restuing against the end
plug B, then using a 14 mm open-ended spanner
access the lock nut C and a 27 mm. open-ended
spanner access the end plug B,
components at the tightening torque given below:
20 - 22 Nm (2,0 - 2,2 kgm)
lower the end plug B on the outer tube P screwing it
•
again by hand for the first turns, then ,using a 27 mm
open-ended spanner tighten it at the tightening torque
given below:
20 - 22 Nm (2,0 - 2,2 kgm)

Reassembly
proceed in the inverse sense to dismantling, taking into
•
account the tightening torques given below :
N° 2 screws for upper bracket
22 - 24 Nm (2,2 - 2,4 kgm)
n° 4 screws for lower bracket
22 - 24 Nm (2,2 - 2,4 kgm)
NOTE : For the regular maintenance, for the assembly of
the compression regulator sets and for the
repairs, follow the indications of Paioli booklet
supplied with each motorcycle and given to each
dealer.

ATTENTION :
baisser de force le ressort, en tenant l'entretoise D et la

rondelle de support du ressort R complétement sur le
bouchon B, puis insérer une clé a fourche de 14 mm. sur
le contre-écrou C et une clé a fourche de 27 mm. sur le

A ce point vérifier que entre le bouchon
et le contre-écrou C il-y-ait un espace de
1-2 mm, en s'assurant ainsi que le
bouchon B soit complètement vissé sur
la canne G. Cette-ci est une garantie de
maximum résistance à la traction.

Remontage
n° 2 vis support supérieur
22 - 24 Nm (2,2 - 2,4 kgm)
n° 4 vis support inférieur
