Error Code Definition and Recommended Action
Error - E01 The load detected does not match the calibration procedure step. This error may occur during the
individual load cell calibration.
• Verify the calibration weight is in the proper corner for the calibration step.
• Verify the load cell cables are properly connected to the control board.
Error - E02 A load cell is installed upside down. This error may occur during the individual load cell calibration.
• Verify the load cell is installed properly. The error will be where the weight is currently located on
the litter. See the "Load Cell Replacement Procedure in. for reference.
Error - E03 At least one load cell gives an impossible reading. This error may occur during normal scale system
operation.
• Verify the load cell cable is not cut or severed.
• Verify the load cell cables are properly connected to the control board.
• Contact Technical Support if the problem persists.
Error - E05 The weight on the scale exceeds the maximum capacity. Do not use the scale system when the
patient weight exceeds 100 lb (54.4 kg). This error may occur during normal scale system operation.
Error - E10 Angle sensor not detected. This error may occur during the normal scale system operation.
• Verify the angle sensor connection to the control board.
• Verify the cable is not cut or severed.
• Contact Technical Support if the problem persists.
Error - E11 Measured angle values are outside target range. This error may occur when calibrating the scale in
relation to the litter angle.
• Ensure the position of the weight corresponds to the position detailed in the procedure.
• Verify the angle sensor connection to the control board.
• Restart the calibration process.
• Contact Technical Support if the problem persists.
Error - E12 Weight measurement taken does not correspond to the current angle reading. This error may occur
during normal scale system operation.
• Verify the angle sensor connection to the control board.
• Re-calibrate the scale system.
Error - E13 Angle reading has the wrong sign. Trendelenburg is positive and reverse Trendelenburg is negative.
This error may occur during the calibration of the scale system.
• Verify the angle sensor is installed in the proper location.
• Ensure the angle of the litter corresponds to the angle detailed in the procedure.
Error - E15 The analog-to-digital converter (ADC) response timed out. This error may occur during the calibration
of the ADC.
• Restart the calibration process.
• Contact Technical Support if the problem persists.
