4.13.2 AMPUTATION
The risk of amputation can occur, mainly, as a result of the operator approaching the blades with parts of the body.
The same risk also exists if the guards on moving parts have been removed.
Before starting-up the product, make sure there is no maintenance work being carried out on it.
CAUTION
It is absolutely forbidden to remove the guards or open parts of the product fitted with covers or inspection
hatches with screws, without first stopping the product and removing all its power sources.
CAUTION
It is absolutely forbidden to handle, store or carry out maintenance with the blades open, otherwise there is a
risk of cutting or amputation.
It is absolutely forbidden to approach the blades with the hands or other parts of the body.
It is mandatory in all conditions of non-use to ensure that the blades are closed and holstered. The
manufacturer shall be held harmless from any liability in the event of non-compliance with this requirement.
4.13.3 FIRE
In the event of faults or failures, the plastic material used (e.g. sheaths, electrical cables) is self-extinguishing and
complies with current standards.
The product, being a hand-held and/or hand-carried portable product, is not equipped with its own fire-fighting system.

The customer/user must assess the need for an adequate firefighting system in accordance with the safety
and fire prevention regulations in force in the country of the user and the internal regulations of the
site/establishment.
•
Do not use open flames or smoke near the product during operation and/or maintenance.
DANGER
In the event of a fire, always shut down the product and disconnect all power/energy sources.

4.13.4 EXPLOSIVE ATMOSPHERE:
CAUTION
The product is NOT suitable for use in explosive or classified environments
• It is absolutely forbidden to use it in an explosive or partially explosive atmosphere.
The product is therefore not suitable for working in the following types of environments:

explosive or partially such
-
classified as fire or explosion hazard
-
where corrosive atmospheres are present
-
where classified gases and/or dust are present
-
with a fire risk from any material or ignition source
• It is absolutely forbidden to use it in any of the environments listed above.
