CAUTION
Use the product only for the purposes described under 'Product Description'. Any other use can cause
injury and is prohibited.
Only operate the product for cutting (i.e. when the blades are inserted in the branches).
Improper use causes greater wear on the product and does not save battery consumption.
Never disconnect the battery while the tool is in use.
In the event of operational difficulties during cutting activities, stop the job immediately in order to avoid damage to
the product or dangerous conditions for people and check the blade's condition and/or correct operating conditions.
6.2.3
USE OF THE PRODUCT MOUNTED ON A TELESCOPIC EXTENSION POLE
Once assembled as indicated in paragraph 5.2.3, proceed with start-up:
Press the 'ON/OFF' switch (5) for at least one second to switch the shear on.
When the display (4) comes on a beep will mean that the shear has been switched on correctly and is ready for
use.
For correct use, it is mandatory to hold the product with both hands, one on the control handle (25) and the other
on the lower extension pole (27).
Once switched on, quickly double-click the operating lever (26) on the handle (25) to enable the shear to cut.
The operating modes of the shear remain unchanged compared to the version without an extension pole.
See paragraph 3.5.
NOTE: In the telescopic extension pole configuration, although the physical protection of the trigger is present,
the operating lever on the shear is disabled and only the operating lever on the extension pole handle remains
active.
CAUTION
Never stop under a branch being cut and evaluate the falling space of the cut branches. The branches
that fall to the ground may bounce and cause injuries.
Hold the extension pole obliquely and do not exceed a 60° angle with respect to the horizontal plane.
In the extension pole configuration, ensure before and during all use that you have full visual control
of the operating area, in order to avoid damage to property, persons and/or animals.
NOTE: when using the "Plug In" cable, the same indications as in sections 6.2.2 and 6.2.3 apply, as the cable does
not change the conditions described above but only allows the battery to be connected to the tool via an extension
cable.
