6. USE AND OPERATION
6.1 GENERAL INFORMATION
-
Only use the tool in good visibility conditions. A dimly lit work area may cause accidents. Do not perform cuts in
poor light conditions, like in the dark, at night, at dusk, at dawn or with dust or sand in the air impeding clear
visibility below 2 metres.
The areas in which the machine is used must have adequate lighting of 100 lux with a minimum uniformity of 0.7
over the work area and 50 lux, with uniformity of at least 0.3, in the immediate vicinity.
-
Do not use the tool in hazardous conditions for the operator, on slippery ground and/or on steep slopes.
-
Prior to use, inspect the work area and check that fallen cutting waste cannot create damage or have a significant
effect on the safe use of the product or create conditions of hindrance, tripping, etc.
-
Always ensure correct posture (legs slightly apart with one foot in front of the other for greater force of action,
upright torso) respecting rest periods on use (one rest period per hour of work is suggested), on changeover and
position during work.
-
Remove work residues frequently so that they do not cause tripping hazards or obstruct work activities and/or do
not become sources of additional risk such as, for example, risk of fire in the case of dry material, which can, in
summer periods, generate spontaneous combustion phenomena.
-
Make sure not to get the product wet, immersed or in contact with water, snow, damp surfaces in general in order
to avoid damaging it.
-
Keep children, frail persons, observers or animals at a safe distance and out of the product's range before
operating it in order to avoid damage, danger or injury.
-
Keep the tool away from sources of heat, oil, solvents, and any environmental conditions other than those
indicated in the manual and permitted.
-
Attention is drawn to the fact that in the event of damage or other condition with leakage of battery fluid, there
may be risks to personnel in the event of contact or other situation resulting from such leakage. Do not touch any
liquid from the battery pack. In case of contact, rinse immediately with clean water. If the liquid comes into contact
with your eyes, rinse thoroughly with clean water and immediately seek medical attention.
Use the product only for the purposes described. Any other use may cause injuries.
-
Handle and use the product by gripping it completely and firmly with the entire hand to avoid misuse, injuries,
