12. "Camera settings" submenu

a) "Pairing" function
Each wireless camera must be connected to the monitor/DVR, otherwise no signal can be received from the wireless
camera. This connection process is also known as "pairing".
For security reasons, each wireless camera can only be connected to one monitor/DVR. It is therefore
impossible to reproduce the video/audio signal from a wireless camera on two monitors/DVRs.
Only one wireless camera can be connected to each channel of the monitor/DVR. If a wireless camera is
connected to a channel to which another wireless camera is already connected, it will overwrite the one that
is currently connected.
Since you have only 30 seconds to perform the connection process for security reasons, the wireless camera should
be as close as to the monitor/DVR as possible. Optionally, you may ask someone to help you out with the connection
process.
Proceed as follows:
• Briefly press the "MENU" button (3, 31) on the monitor/DVR or the IR remote control to display the main menu.
• Use the "
" or "

hold down the pairing button (22) on the cable of the wireless camera housing for about 5 seconds within this 30
seconds.
If the wireless camera has been identified correctly, the OSD menu is exited and the monitor/DVR displays
the camera image.
If the wireless camera is not found (e.g. if the wireless camera is out of range or the button is not pressed
within 30 seconds), the OSD menu is exited automatically. If necessary, restart a connection process.
b) "Camera on/off" function
This function allows disabling unused channels, e.g. if you use only two wireless cameras/channels (the monitor/
DVR allows simultaneous use of up to four wireless cameras/channels). In Single or Quad mode (see section 10. e)
disabled channels are not displayed.
Example:
If you use two wireless cameras and switch off channels 3 and 4, you can only switch between channels
