13. Troubleshooting

RC System
RC system does not work
Transmission range too slight
Servos do not respond correctly
RC system works faulty while
engine is running
Batteries/rechargeable batteries of transmitter and/or
receiver are spent
Batteries/rechargeable batteries wrongly inserted
Plug of batteries/rechargeable batteries of receiver is
loose
Batteries/rechargeable batteries of transmitter and/or
receiver are weak
Insufficient antenna reception
Transmitter antenna is not pulled out
The antenna of the receiver is not pulled out to its full
length
Receiver antenna was cut off
Batteries/rechargeable batteries of transmitter and/or
receiver are weak
Gear wheels in the servo transmission do not engage or
are defect
Adjuster rings on the steering levers are loos
Servo reverse switch on the transmitter was accidentally
set to "REV"
Receiver crystal is loose
Plug of batteries/rechargeable batteries of receiver is
loose
Receiver damaged, e.g. after a crash
Replace the batteries/rechargeable batteries of transmitter
and/or receiver
Check the polarity of the batteries/rechargeable batteries
Firmly insert the plug again
Replace the batteries/rechargeable batteries of transmitter
and/or receiver
Fully extend the transmitter antenna, completely uncoil the
receiver antenna and guide upwards
Pull the antenna out completely.
Pull out the wire of the antenna completely.
Repair the receiver
Replace the batteries/rechargeable batteries of transmitter
and/or receiver
Have the servo repaired or exchange it
Retighten the adjuster rings, use the factory settings
Switch the servo reverser to "NORM"
Insert the receiver crystal again
Firmly insert the plug again
Repair the receiver
