b) Engine, fuel
• Also pay attention to the running-in regulations for the engine.
• Only use model vehicle fuel designed for RC models. RC cars require fuel based on methanol/oil with a minimum
ratio of 5% to 25% nitromethane and 16% oil. Never use common car gasoline! Also, never use fuel for flight models.
This contains too little oil.
• Do not touch the engine and the exhaust during operation! Never reach into the drive and do not insert any objects
in it!
Danger of burns and other injuries!
• Switching off the engine Cover the exhaust pipe with a motor stopper (alternatively with a rag) to stall the motor. The
fuel supply should not be disconnected as otherwise the engine could overheat. You may first turn off the receiver
and then the transmitter when the motor is no longer running.
• Store fuel in a locked place and out of the reach of children! Avoid contact with eyes, mucus membranes and skin.
Contact a physician immediately if you start feeling ill. The individual ingredients of the model fuel, methanol and
nitromethane, are toxic!
Danger to health!
• Never spill the fuel. Use a special fuel bottle to fuel the car.
• Only perform test runs and drives out of doors. Do not inhale the fuel and exhaust fumes.
• Check the tightness of hose connections and tank lid before each use.
• Car fuel is highly flammable. Do not smoke when fuelling No open flames!
Danger of fire and explosion!
• Stock fuel in well ventilated rooms, away from ignition sources.
• Only transport the model with an empty tank! Empty the tank if you do not want to drive the mode for several days.
• Only use appropriate containers for transporting the fuel.
• The fuel can eat away and damage varnish and rubber parts.
• Empty fuel containers as well as fuel wastage are a hazardous waste and must be recycle accordingly.
• Do not burn fuel containers!
c) Driving
• Prior to starting:
Check all bolted connections and all wheel nuts.
Make sure that the rechargeable batteries of both transmitter and receiver are completely charged.
Put the pistol grip remote control into neutral. To do so, let go of the lever for the drive function and the steering
wheel. Then first turn on the remote control transmitter and then the receiver.
• Never drive if your ability to respond is limited (e.g. when tired, under medication or under the influence of alcohol)
Incorrect responses can cause serious damages to people and objects.
