8.5.8 Apply the four (4) 90" safety straps around both frames and secure one at
the chest pad, one between the hip and thigh pads at the hips, and one at
the knees and one at the feet. For ease of access, all buckles should be
placed on the same side of the table (see Figure 47).

8.5.9 Fill the void between the patient's legs and spinal tops with additional
pillows as necessary to support the patient's legs during the rotation (see
Figure 48).

8.6 Compression Sequence
NOTE: It is intended that the following sequence be performed rapidly to prevent
extended compression of the patient.
rotation and release sequence should take less than thirty seconds. This is desirable to
avoid undue extended compression of the patient.
