5.8 PRODUCT COMPLAINT

Any health professional (specifically, customer or user of the system) who has a complaint or has experienced
dissatisfaction with the quality of the product, its description, durability, reliability, safety, effectiveness and/
or performance must communicate it to Moria or to its distributor by telephone and confirm it in writing
(indicating the product name, reference, serial or batch number, name and address, nature of the complaint,
and patient characteristics). The faulty product(s), once decontaminated, must also be checked by Moria.

5.9 PACKAGING

The packaging of every component must be intact when received. All elements must be carefully checked to
ensure that there is no damage before use. Products that are damaged or in damaged packaging must not
be used but must be returned to Moria.
Do not use a single-use product if the packet is open or torn.

6 INSTALLATION AND CONNECTION

ACTIONS
1.Select the head
1.1 CBm-ALTK: select the desired pre-calibrated head. The
calibration value is shown on the front of the head and
determines the depth of the cut.
1.2 CBSU for artificial chamber: see the selecting guide
for CBSU heads for artificial chambers (#65082) for the
selection of the CBSU head. The calibration value is
shown on the front of the head and determines the depth
of the cut.
2. Insert the blade into the head
2.1 CBm-ALTK: Check the general condition of the blade,
particularly its cutting edge before and after inserting the
blade into the head. The shape of the blade only allows it
to be inserted in one way thus eliminating any risk of error.
• The blade can only be inserted when the face is in line
with the head.
• Insert the blade gently into the slot provided for the
purpose in the head.
• Guide the blade so that the cutting edge does not come in
contact with the metal of the head.
• Push the blade in gently and completely. Light pressure
should allow the blade to slip in easily. If that is not the
case, check that there are no debris or particles in the slot.
If there is resistance, use another blade.
• Check that the blade holder is correctly centered in the
head (the throat of the holder must be visible when viewed
from top).
• Moisten the CBm-ALTK thoroughly with the physiological
serum or any other appropriate ophthalmic solution.
2.2 CBSU for artificial chamber:
• The CBSU heads for artificial chambers are supplied
sterile with their blades pre-inserted to avoid any handling
of the blade.
• Open the peelable pack and place the blister on a clean
surface without breaking the asepsis chain. Place the
blister on a flat surface so that the cylindrical base is
visible, then remove the top of the blister carefully.
