5.3. Fault codes

The ADC (Advanced Digital Control) controller displays fault codes to aid fault finding. The fault codes used, their description and
the recommended corrective measures are detailed in figure 3.5.
Identifying the cause of the fault and correcting it. Resetting the controller after a fault-related shutdown. See section 3.5.1.

5.4. ADC controller fault finding

Figures 5.2 and 5.3 give detailed fault finding information for the ADC 2100 and ADC-RES (Advanced Digital Control) controllers
and possible repairs.
Fault(s)
The controller has no electrical supply.
The permanent supply mode jumper is not in
place and the generating set has not been
operated for at least 48 hours.
The controller fuse (F3) has blown.
Controller LEDs
off
Insufficient or no battery voltage.
Main switch on the generating set is set to
"OFF/RESET".
Main switch on the generating set is set to "AUTO",
but no start command has been received since the
controller was last reset.

Insufficient or no battery voltage.
Main switch on the generating set is set to

Corrective measure(s)
The
controller's
display will
switched on when a remote start command is
received or when the generating set's main switch is
set to "RUN". See section 3.6.
Fit the jumper in permanent supply mode position
on the controller, if necessary.
Replace the fuse. If the fuse blows again, contact an
approved agent.
Check the connections.
Check the generating set's battery and battery
charger. See figure 5.4.
Move the main switch on the generating set to
"AUTO" or "RUN".
No
action

the remote switch to start the generating set and
activate the controller's display, if required.
